Kurt Thomas (concussion) returned to action on Monday, scoring four points on 2-of-4 shooting with two rebounds and two assists in 12 minutes.
Thomas hasn't done anything this season to warrant fantasy consideration, but we wouldn't be surprised if he has one more spot-start in him at some point down the road.
Mar 6 - 2:05 AM
Kurt Thomas (concussion) will be active for Monday's game against the Hornets.
Thomas has passed the NBA's concussion protocol. He'll serve a backup role behind Marcus Camby and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Kurt Thomas (concussion) will not be active for Saturday's game vs. the Wolves.
Portland at least has two of their veteran centers to throw at the Wolves, in Marcus Camby and Joel Przybilla. Thomas is subject to daily testing until he's completely free of concussion symptoms, but it sounds like he's very close.
Mar 3 - 9:06 PM
Kurt Thomas (concussion) went through parts of Saturday's shootaround but his return is still questionable.
Thomas is still going through medical testing to clear him to play. Until he gets the official green light, Marcus Camby and Joel Przybilla will hold down the center position for Portland.

Raymond Felton
Sidelined
Acting GM Chad Buchanan said that point guard will be a "critical spot for us to fill."
Buchanan added that he's looking for a point guard that's similarly aged to the team's younger core, and this probably wraps up the Raymond Felton era in Portland. Whether it's through the draft or free agency, the Blazers figure to be aggressive in addressing a very obvious need on the roster.

Jamal Crawford will opt out of his contract this summer, a source tells Hoopsworld's Alex Kennedy.
By passing on playing in Portland for $5.2 million next season, Crawford will become an unrestricted free agent. Kennedy cites the Timeberwolves, Nets and Suns as potential suitors. Crawford turned 32 in March, but is still capable of instant offense off the bench. He netted 14.0 points per game despite logging just 26.9 minutes this past season.

Elliot Williams
Sidelined
Blazers GM Chad Buchanan believes that SG Elliot Williams can earn a consistent spot in the rotation next season.
Williams once had a 48 inch vertical leap and has since had patella tendon surgery, and the little that we have heard has been relatively positive for Williams coming out of his second year. As the team is constituted right now, he has no clear path to fantasy value, but we'll watch from afar to see if he continues to rise up in the ranks.

LaMarcus Aldridge
Sidelined
Chris Mullin is "in the mix" for the Trail Blazers' GM job, sources tell Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld.
We're taking this one with an extreme grain of salt. Although Mullin's name could certainly be in the mix, as Kennedy reported, it's hard to imagine a scenario where he'd willingly walk into a situation controlled by Paul Allen unless given the assurance he wouldn't be overruled. Given his tenure with the Warriors, it's unlikely that Allen would step aside in basketball decisions if Mullin were to be hired.

Nicolas Batum
Sidelined
Restricted free agent Nicolas Batum is expected to sign the first "lucrative" offer sheet he receives, according to Chris Haynes of CSNNW.
"The first good offer we get, we're going with that," said Bouna Ndiaye, Batum's agent. Batum does not plan to wait for the Trail Blazers to address other free agents, but that doesn't make it likely he'll leave Portland. The Blazers can match any offer he receives, and the team can also offer more money than any other club in free agency.

Shawne Williams
Sidelined
Shawne Williams said that he will likely opt-in to the second year of his contract next season.
Williams has a $3.1 million player option for next season, but will be coming off a lost season that was cut short due to foot surgery. "I don't have no reason not to," Williams said when asked why he's considering opting-in, and we think that's a perfectly apt description.
