Dwyane Wade had his ailing knee drained prior to Game 3, partly explaining his 30-point outburst in Game 4.
The Heat also had two days of rest between Games 3 & 4, which helped Wade bounce back after shooting just 31 percent in the first three games vs. the Pacers. He sure looked healthy while making 11 consecutive field goals in the second half on Sunday.

Dwyane Wade was invisible in the first half on Sunday but erupted after halftime, combining with LeBron James to score 48 of Miami's 50 points bridging the third and fourth quarters.
A staff member with the Heat confirmed that Wade's knee is bothering him, part of the reason he's struggled to score vs. the Pacers, but today he showed some explosion on aggressive moves to the basket. He scored 30 points for the first time since March 30th, making 13-of-23 FGs with two 3s, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks and zero turnovers. Welcome back, Dwyane.

Dwyane Wade is dealing with a lower leg issue, the same injury that caused him to miss time during the regular season.
Perhaps this helps to explain Wade's five point performance in Game 3. Wade has apparently been getting treatment for the last few days to treat the injury, but as Brian Windhorst notes, it "seems to be affecting his performance." Wade hasn't been fully practicing in between games and is shooting just 31 percent from the floor during the second round. Without Chris Bosh (abdomen), Wade simply has to be much better than he has been.

Dwyane Wade hit just 2-of-13 shots for five points in the Heat's blowout Game 3 loss to the Pacers on Thursday, and also got into a shouting match with coach Erik Spoelstra during the game.
Here we go. The golden boy made of Teflon is going to get his first real serving of media scrutiny (maybe), after mailing in his performance and appearing for the most part like he forgot how to play basketball. Wade had five rebounds, five turnovers, one steal, and two blocks in the loss.

Chris Bosh (abdominal strain) has been ruled out for Games 5 and 6 of the Pacers vs. Heat series and head coach Erik Spoelstra said "it's too early to say" if Bosh would even be ready for a possible Game 7.
Bosh has taken a lot of criticism over the last two years as the weakest of the Heat's Big 3, but is now looking like quite a valuable missing piece as the Heat try to bang down low with the talented front court of the Pacers. It took a monster 40-point, 18-rebound performance from LeBron James for the Heat to come back and win Game 4 in Indy on Sunday. LeBron will need to continue to put up monster stat lines for the Heat advance.

Suspended
Udonis Haslem has been suspended one game for his Flagrant-2 foul on Tyler Hansbrough during Game 5.
Dexter Pittman has also been suspended, for three games, and with Chris Bosh already ruled out for Game 6 the Heat's frontcourt is especially thin. Shane Battier has already been checking David West at PF in the series, and we could see Juwan Howard or even Eddy Curry on the active roster for Thursday.

Suspended
The NBA has suspended Dexter Pittman three games for his Flagrant-2 foul on Lance Stephenson during Game 5.
Pittman took a blatant cheap-shot to Stephenson's head, so the suspension is completely unsurprising. His loss shouldn't be a major issue for Miami, considering he hasn't played more than four minutes in a game during the playoffs.
