The Rockets will waive Carlos Delfino before his $3 million option becomes guaranteed on June 30th.
The price-tag isn't unreasonable for Delfino, who shot 37.5 percent from downtown last year, but he had foot surgery in May and his 4-6 month timetable makes him iffy for the start of the 2013-14 season.
