Kendrick Perkins (hip) will play on Monday in Game 5 against the Lakers.
No surprise here. Despite being far less than 100 percent, Perkins will continue to trot out there and play physical defense inside against the Lakers big men.
May 21 - 1:35 PM

Royce Young on Twitter
Kendrick Perkins (hip) says he's not even close to 80 percent, healthy but he's going to continue to "do what I can to give up my body for the team."
Perkins at less than full strength certainly raises some red flags, but most expect him to play in Game 3 on Friday. Perk played 31 minutes on Wednesday and was a big asset in helping to defend Andrew Bynum. Nazr Mohammed will also chip in with front-court minutes for OKC as they try to take a commanding 3-0 lead on Friday night.
May 18 - 2:19 PM
Source:
Darnell Mayberry
Beat writer Darnell Mayberry writes that Kendrick Perkins (hip) is unlikely to be healthy for the rest of the season.
Perkins' hip might be bothering him, but he played 31 big minutes on Wednesday night and was critical in defending Andrew Bynum. He might be less than 100 percent, but we expect him to be out there for Game 3 on Friday.
May 17 - 9:10 AM

Oklahoman
Kendrick Perkins played 31 minutes during Wednesday's Game 2 win over the Lakers, scoring two points while hauling in five rebounds.
The big man was iffy coming into the game with a hip injury but looked okay in the middle. His condition should improve with a few days' rest.

Sidelined
Eric Maynor (knee surgery) remains on pace to return for training camp.
Maynor tore his ACL in January, causing the Thunder to scramble for a primary backup PG and eventually to sign veteran Derek Fisher. It sounds as though Maynor is doing well, as his daily routine includes "soft-tissue work for 30-45 minutes every morning, followed by an hour in the weight room, some shooting, observing practice and ice treatments twice a day."
