Jason Witten averaged just 5.8 targets in the second half of the season after seeing 8.9 in the first half.
While Witten's numbers were still impressive, it was his least productive season since 2007. Over the final five games, Witten finished 19th among fantasy tight ends -- behind the likes of Dennis Pitta and Jeremy Shockey. It's no coincidence that all three Cowboys receivers were healthy and productive in the final month. Witten will likely be overdrafted in 2012, especially if Laurent Robinson returns.

Jason Witten caught seven passes for 69 yards in Dallas' Week 17 loss to the Giants.
The seven-catch night was Witten's first since Week 4, and a solid end to a season where Dallas' tight end looked a step slower at times. Although he finishes with a rock solid line of 79/942/5, Witten averaged only 4.3 catches for 48 yards after Dallas' Week 5 bye. Part of an increasingly crowded Cowboys' receiver corps, Witten will enter 2012 as the fantasy TE1 he's been since 2004, but shouldn't be counted on for elite numbers.

Jason Witten caught four passes for 24 yards against the Eagles in Week 16.
Witten was still in the game late in the fourth quarter, catching three of his four passes in garbage time. Even if Witten has topped 50 yards just once in the past five weeks, he'll welcome Tony Romo back with open arms in Week 17 versus the Giants.

Jason Witten was held to four catches for 77 yards in Week 15 against the Buccaneers.
After being held to a season-low 12 receiving yards last week, Witten was heavily involved on offense and averaged 19 yards per catch against the Buccaneers struggling defense. The majority of his yardage came on a 28 yard reception that set up the Cowboys first scoring drive (a touchdown to Miles Austin).

Felix Jones is being limited at Cowboys OTAs due to recovery from offseason shoulder surgery.
The Cowboys expect Jones to be 100 percent by training camp. The contract-year tailback battled a right shoulder issue, a high ankle sprain, and a hamstring pull last season. He'll return as DeMarco Murray's change-of-pace back.

Cowboys rookie WR Danny Coale will undergo surgery on Thursday to repair a broken bone in his left foot.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it's a broken fifth metatarsal that should keep Coale out a month. The Cowboys hope to have Coale on the field early in training camp, but the missed practice time will set the fifth-rounder back in his competition for the third receiver role. Andre Holmes, Kevin Ogletree, Dwayne Harris, and undrafted rookie Tim Benford are also vying for the job.

Cowboys WR Raymond Radway (broken leg) resumed running four weeks ago, but remains "hesitant cutting."
Radway was making a strong push for a roster spot last season before breaking his leg in the Cowboys' preseason finale. He expects to participate in OTAs. Radway is technically in the mix with Kevin Ogletree, Dwayne Harris and Andre Holmes to replace Laurent Robinson as the Cowboys' third receiver, but it's unlikely Dallas is done making moves at wideout.
