Cowboys ILB Sean Lee has taken over a leadership role on defense.
The 2010 second-rounder has already emerged as one of the NFL's top inside linebackers. While DeMarcus Ware is easily the team's top defender, he's been criticized at times for a lack of leadership. "If there is something that needs to be addressed, I have no problem addressing it," Lee said recently.

Cowboys ILB Sean Lee (hamstring) said he will be ready to play in Sunday night's showdown with the Giants.
Lee tweaked his hamstring in the second half of last week's loss to the Eagles, but wasn't allowed back in the meaningless game as a precaution. "My leg is fine," Lee said. The Cowboys' best inside linebacker has 93 tackles and four interceptions in 14 games this season.

Cowboys ILB Sean Lee exited Saturday's game in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury.
The team is officially calling it a coach's decision, a sign that Lee could perhaps return if the game wasn't meaningless. The Cowboys will need Lee, one of the league's premier coverage linebackers, in the season finale.

Cowboys ILB Sean Lee (wrist) admitted he couldn't tackle well with a hard cast on his left hand Sunday.
In Lee's first game back since dislocating his wrist, he recorded four tackles. "I kept feeling like I couldn't wrap up," he said. "I kept sliding down." Still, Lee's mere presence is a stabilizing force for the Cowboys' defense. He'll get used to playing with the cast with more experience.

Felix Jones is being limited at Cowboys OTAs due to recovery from offseason shoulder surgery.
The Cowboys expect Jones to be 100 percent by training camp. The contract-year tailback battled a right shoulder issue, a high ankle sprain, and a hamstring pull last season. He'll return as DeMarco Murray's change-of-pace back.

Cowboys rookie WR Danny Coale will undergo surgery on Thursday to repair a broken bone in his left foot.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it's a broken fifth metatarsal that should keep Coale out a month. The Cowboys hope to have Coale on the field early in training camp, but the missed practice time will set the fifth-rounder back in his competition for the third receiver role. Andre Holmes, Kevin Ogletree, Dwayne Harris, and undrafted rookie Tim Benford are also vying for the job.
