A.J. Green plans to work out with Larry Fitzgerald in Minnesota this offseason.
It's a proactive approach for a receiver who may soon be considered an elite, top-five player at his position. Green has already been working out in Atlanta five days a week with Calvin Johnson and Cam Newton. Receivers who work with Fitzgerald in the offseason tend to play better on Sundays. Among the notable wideouts who've benefited include Sidney Rice before his breakout year with the Vikings, Dwayne Bowe, and Eric Decker last year.

Former Colts coach Tony Dungy compares A.J. Green to a "big Marvin Harrison."
"I love A.J. Green," Dungy said. "He's got the same wiry frame, he's got the same deceptive speed, and he's got all the hand-eye coordination and the skill Marvin had. But he's big." We've seen plenty of Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson comps, but this one is perhaps the most interesting. Much like Harrison, Green will have to actively avoid big hits to stay out of the trainers' room.

A.J. Green caught five passes for 47 yards against the Texans in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
Green had a major impact early, burning Glover Quin for a 52-yard pass interference penalty and getting the best of Johnathan Joseph in the short passing game. Wade Phillips quickly adjusted, though, shutting Green down for the majority of the next three quarters. Joseph broke up a potential garbage-time touchdown late. The cornerstone of the Bengals offense going forward, Green proved to be an elite talent while breaking Cris Collinsworth's franchise rookie record for receiving yards.

NFL Network's Mike Mayock believes A.J. Green is already a top-ten NFL receiver and expects the rookie to join the truly elite soon.
"I think he's already one of the top-10 receivers in the league and in the next year or two he’ll be mentioned with Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson," said Mayock. "That’s the kind of ability he has." From an Xs and Os standpoint, Mayock praised the Bengals' increased usage of Green in the slot. Green will match up often with Johnathan Joseph on Saturday.
