Cowboys re-signed WR/KR Dwayne Harris.
Harris is back to provide help as a returner. Despite being waived in mid-October, Harris still leads the team with 11 punt returns on the season. He'll allow Dez Bryant to focus on receiving duties and Felix Jones to focus on his workhorse role in the running game.

Cowboys waived WR Dwayne Harris.
Harris was impressive in preseason action, but he was bypassed by Laurent Robinson at receiver while averaging just 6.6 yards on 11 punt returns. The Cowboys will presumably be in the market for a return specialist, as Dez Bryant should no longer be an option. Harris is a good bet to draw interest on the waiver wire.

Rookie WR Dwayne Harris left Thursday's preseason finale with a concussion.
Harris had one catch for 11 yards compared to fellow rookie Raymond Radway's three catches for 62 yards. Now that Radway (broken leg) is done for the season, Harris should be locked into the final roster spot at receiver.

Sixth-round WR Dwayne Harris led the Cowboys with 127 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions against the Broncos in Thursday's preseason opener.
The highlight was a 76-yard catch and run, but Harris also did well to escape defenders on a 26-yard reception and a 10-yard slant. ESPN Dallas' Tim McMahon noted that the former East Carolina star is "already an upgrade over Roy Williams." One of our favorite late-round gems, Harris is ideally suited to the slot. He could give Kevin Ogletree a run for the third receiver role.

Felix Jones is being limited at Cowboys OTAs due to recovery from offseason shoulder surgery.
The Cowboys expect Jones to be 100 percent by training camp. The contract-year tailback battled a right shoulder issue, a high ankle sprain, and a hamstring pull last season. He'll return as DeMarco Murray's change-of-pace back.

Cowboys rookie WR Danny Coale will undergo surgery on Thursday to repair a broken bone in his left foot.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it's a broken fifth metatarsal that should keep Coale out a month. The Cowboys hope to have Coale on the field early in training camp, but the missed practice time will set the fifth-rounder back in his competition for the third receiver role. Andre Holmes, Kevin Ogletree, Dwayne Harris, and undrafted rookie Tim Benford are also vying for the job.
