With Asante Samuel out of the mix, the Eagles plan to shadow opposing No. 1 wide receivers with Nnamdi Asomugha.
Samuel strictly played "off" coverage on the left side, which limited the Eagles from moving Asomugha around. Going forward, they'll play more press coverage. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie moves into the starting lineup and Joselio Hanson currently sits as the No. 3/slot corner. Expect the Eagles to add another corner via this weekend's draft. Be prepared to downgrade your top fantasy receiver when the Eagles are on the schedule this season.

The Eagles used Nnamdi Asomugha on Jason Witten in the Week 16 win over the Cowboys.
The Eagles are finally starting to get some return on their Asomugha investment. He's been handling the opponent's biggest receiver on a weekly basis of late, using his 6'2/210 frame as an asset. Witten ended up with just four catches for 24 yards.

Eagles CB Nnamdi Asomugha has cleared his baseline concussion testing.
Asomugha has been medically cleared from his concussion, but he only practiced on a limited basis Monday because his knee still isn't at 100 percent. Consider Asomugha questionable for next week's game in Miami.

Coach Andy Reid revealed after Thursday's game that Nnamdi Asomugha has been diagnosed with a concussion and a stinger.
Asomugha's helmet slammed into the turf a split-second before Big Mike Williams landed on his head and neck. The good news is that Asomugha will have 10 days to recover before the Eagles play in Week 14 at Miami. Joselio Hanson will pick up extra snaps if Asomugha's symptoms don't subside in time.

Brent Celek (shoulder and hernia surgeries) "(didn't) look that limited" at Eagles OTAs on Tuesday.
The Eagles have been mum on Celek's status other than revealing he will see "limited reps" in June's minicamp, but it sounds like earlier concerns about his recovery were overblown. Celek recently proclaimed that he "felt better than I have probably in the last three of four years," and should be at or near 100 percent for camp. He believes he was injured for perhaps two years before going under the knife.
