McCann gave the Panthers a 3-2 lead with under six minutes remaining in regulation and that was enough to get Florida the two points in the standings. The win allows the Panthers to stay alive in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The 21-year-old is up to nine goals and 25 points in 66 games this season. Dadonov stopped Boston's comeback bid with an insurance goal with 1:49 remaining in the third period. He posted two goals and three assists during a five-game point streak to finish the season. "After a career like that and three little kids going back to Czech for good, they'll be enough to do just being around the family. I was involved with my hometown team [BK Mlada Boleslav] for five years before. I think that's something I'll get back to. ... I think that's it. This was my last game as a player."
