Sandis Ozolinsh has decided to hang up his skates.
Ozolinsh's NHL career ended in 2007-08, but he spent the last five campaigns in the KHL. In his prime, Ozolinsh was one of the best offensive defenseman in the league and he played a big role in the Colorado Avalanche winning the Stanley Cup in 1996. He ended up with 167 goals and 564 points in 875 career games with the San Jose Sharks, Colorado, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and New York Rangers.
