Paul Byron scored his first career playoff goal in Friday's 4-3 OT win over the New York Rangers.
Not only did Byron score the go-ahead goal (2-1) in the first period, but he was consistently dangerous throughout the night. The line of Byron, Tomas Plekanec and Brendan Gallagher was Montreal's best trio in Game 2. Byron could have had at least one more goal, but he was stoned by Henrik Lundqivst on a breakaway in the first period. The series is now tied 1-1 heading back to New York. Game 3 will be played at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night. Apr 15 - 8:51 AM
