It appears that Scott Thornton has played his last game in the NHL.
Thornton is expected to retire in the off-season after a 17-year NHL career. Thornton was drafted by Toronto as the third overall selection in the 1989 Entry Draft. "I don't know," Thornton said. "We'll see what happens. I'll try to prepare for that. I think it's time. I still love to play."
