Michel Therrien's job is safe for now.
Montreal Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin feels that he has no reason to make any coaching changes at this time. Since Therrien took over as the Canadiens' bench boss Montreal has won its division twice in three seasons and reached the Eastern Conference Final once. The fact that they lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round has be somewhat disappointing, but its not as if they were a substantially superior team on paper. Although Therrien certainly isn't without his critics, the Canadiens' bigger need going into the summer is one or more top-six caliber forwards. May 15 - 2:20 PM
