West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster will continue his recovery from a ruptured ACL by taking part in a charity cycle ride from London to Paris, a 500km route spread over 4-days.
Foster has been sidelined since mid-March after damaging knee ligaments during the home win over Stoke and the England stopper is hoping to make a return in October later this year. No stranger to the treatment room this is the third time Foster has torn his anterior cruciate ligament and biking provides the ideal non-weight bearing exercise during rehab. In his absence Boaz Myhill kept 3-clean sheets helping the Baggies to retain their BPL status while earning himself a 12-month contract extension. Youssouf Mulumbu, Chris Baird and Jason Davidson have all been released while Tony Pulis has begun negotiations with Gareth McAuley and Claudio Yacob. May 28 - 5:45 AM
