Chris Hughton will be hoping Glenn Murray can recover from injury in time for the trip to Arsenal following the news that Tomer Hemed will miss the next three matches.
The Brighton and Hove Albion striker appealed his Football Association charge for violent conduct earlier this week, but news broke on Wednesday that the ban has been upheld leaving the Seagulls seriously short of attacking options. Hemed, who grabbed the only goal of the game on Sunday, appeared to stamp on Newcastle full-back DeAndre Yedlin just minutes after a minor altercation with the US international. The incident, which was missed by referee Andre Marriner, was referred to an independent panel following a video review. With Sam Baldock [calf surgery] still out, Hughton will be pinning his hopes on veteran forward Murray who is still feeling the after-effects of an ankle ligament injury suffered at Leicester earlier in the season. Alternatively, Izzy Brown could be called upon having returned to the first-team squad last weekend. Sep 27 - 12:45 PM
