Juan Foyth scored his first Premier League goal for Tottenham to give Mauricio Pochettino's side a hard-fought, but costly, away win at Crystal Palace.
After conceding two penalties on his Premier League debut against Wolverhampton last week, the 20-year-old defender was handed another start with Davinson Sanchez absent due to a hamstring injury. Tottenham had chances in the first half, but Dele Alli headed wide, and Harry Kane was denied from 25-yards by Wayne Hennessey. This set the stage for Foyth to made the most of his second chance, reacting quickest on 66 minutes to head home the match-winner after Harry Kane's initial header was blocked. The win, however, came at a hefty price. Kieran Trippier, who was named in Gareth Southgate's squad, limped off midway through the first half with a suspected thigh problem. Erik Lamela also left early after suffering a cut to his head. Nov 10 - 3:09 PM
