Swansea City's bid to turn their season around hit a speed bump today as they were eventually blown away by Arsenal in a 0-4 loss.
The Swans were looking to build off a rare win they earned in Week 20 but it was not to be against an Arsenal side that had too much talent to contain over 90 minutes. The first 45 minutes belonged to Swansea and despite failing to get a goal from their efforts, they looked poised for an upset, with Kyle Naughton coming closest to finding an opener. The wheels came off when they conceded just before the break though. Then, in the second half, the Swans received the dubious distinction of giving up two own goals in the same game, a feat not seen in the PK in five years. Jack Cork was credited with the first, while Naughton turned in the second. Clement has a real challenge ahead as today marks the beginning of a brutal stretch in Swansea's schedule.
