Swansea City's remarkably poor form continued as Neil Taylor's handling of a cross awarded Liverpool a penalty which was converted to give the Reds a 1-0 win.
Frustrating times indeed for the Welsh club as Garry Monk must be feeling his job soon slipping away. He named a similar side that drew with Bournemouth last week and the changes don't seem to be making a positive difference, outside of perhaps Kyle Bartley who did well to keep a Jordan Ibe shot from going in. Jonjo Shelvey, who was involved in both of the Swans goals last week was absent, serving a suspension, and it wasn't until the final half hour after having conceded that the attack began showing competence. That period included efforts from former starters turned substitutes Jefferson Montero and Bafetimbi Gomis, but it wasn't enough to break through the Liverpool defense. Taylor will get the brunt of the blame for setting the Reds up for the penalty score but the Swans as a unit are simply in disarray these days. Sun, Nov 29, 2015 01:31:00 PM
