Jaguars selected USC WR Marqise Lee with the No. 39 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Lee (5-foot-11 3/4, 192) was considered a future top-ten pick after winning the 2012 Biletnikoff Award as college football's top wideout, but his performance dropped sharply in 2013 due to nagging knee and shin injuries, and a disturbing 12.3% drop rate. Lee still finished with a 248-3,655-14.7-29 career receiving line, and two kick-return scores. His stock took a hit at the Combine with a sluggish 4.52 forty, though Lee showed explosion with a 38-inch vertical and 10-foot-7 broad jump. Ultimately, Lee is a softer, slightly built wideout who will have to win with separation because he comes up short too often in contested situations. And his hands are an obvious issue. All that being said, he has the inside track on starting opposite Cecil Shorts come Week 1. May 9 - 7:48 PM
