Central Michigan redshirt junior WR Titus Davis (knee) "reminded everybody what he's capable of Saturday" by dominating Toledo for six catches and 128 yards, writes ESPN's Mel Kiper.
The Chippewas' star has missed significant time this season due to a lingering knee injury. "He has been a big-play constant for the Chips, having averaged 18 and 20 yards per catch over the past two seasons, respectively, and it looks as if we'll see more of that now that he's healthy," Kiper wrote. "He has good size at almost 6-2 and about 190 pounds, and has strong hands and the ability to use his size to beat defenders for the ball, and speed to run away. I'd put an early third-day grade on him at this stage." Over the summer, TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline graded Davis as a Round 4 prospect, and noted NFL scouts "think highly" of the prospect. Davis was voted the team MVP after leading the Chippewas with 61 receptions for 1,109 yards and eight receiving scores last year. Davis reportedly has a forty in the 4.4s. Sep 30 - 5:49 PM
