Oregon sophomore RB Byron Marshall (ankle) is expected to be fully healthy for the Dec. 30 Alamo Bowl against Texas.
Marshall suffered an ankle injury against Arizona on Nov. 23. Ducks running backs coach Gary Campbell indicated that Marshall could start against the Longhorns because true freshman Thomas Tyner is still suffering from a hamstring injury. "Thomas is hurt," Campbell said. "And if we were to start a game and come back tomorrow, I would say Byron Marshall would be the starting tailback." Marshall leads Oregon with 995 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, while Tyner ranks second with 689 and nine TDs. Mon, Dec 16, 2013 09:47:00 PM
