Running back Deantre Lewis may be limited, but will partake of spring practice with the Sun Devils.
As a freshman in 2010, Lewis was the team’s second-leading rusher with 539 yards. What’s more, he demonstrated game-breaking ability as he averaged 5.9 per tote and also averaged 16.1 yards on 23 receptions. All told, Lewis had nearly 1,000 all-purpose yards and 6 TDs. Then what would have been his sophomore season was wiped out thanks to gunshot wounds to the leg resulting from random shooting. With Cameron Marshall declaring early for the NFL draft, new coach Todd Graham and the ASU offense is in need of a RB to step up. Though limited, it will be interesting to see what progress Lewis makes. Feb 22 - 1:07 PM
