Auburn junior OT Patrick Miller will forgo his final season of eligibility and declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.
Bit of a head scratcher, here, though every class presents us with a few. "Pat Miller has decided to make himself eligible for the NFL draft and pursue his goals to become an NFL player," Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn said in a statement. "I want to thank Pat for his contributions to the Auburn football program during his three years. I’m excited for Pat and wish him the best." The former four-star recruit was never a full-timer at Auburn, accruing 19 starts over three years. His career was slowed by injuries and suspensions. Miller probably made the decision to bolt after freshman Braden Smith started at RT in the Outback Bowl versus Wisconsin, though it's a bit shocking that he didn't transfer instead.
