CBS Sports' Dane Brugler compares Michigan redshirt junior WR Jehu Chesson to Mario Manningham.
"Manningham had more explosive plays on his collegiate tape, but Chesson is a more dependable target," Brugler wrote. "His development towards the end of last season signals a potential breakout senior year if he develops chemistry with Michigan's new starting quarterback." Chesson collected 50 catches for 764 yards and nine touchdowns last year to earn first-team All-Big Ten honors. "Chesson is a loose athlete with the galloping speed to easily accelerate in his routes and find open pockets in coverage," Brugler wrote. "He catches the ball well in stride with the locating skills to adjust without slamming on the breaks, creating after the catch with finishing speed and a legitimate fifth gear." Brugler does believe the receiver needs to work on his propensity to body catch and run sloppy routes. Jul 21 - 7:44 PM
