NFL scouts "are already salivating about" Alabama sophomore RB Derrick Henry's pro potential, according to NFL.com's Bucky Brooks.
The 6-3, 238-pounder runs a 4.52 second forty, a 4.15 second pro-agility shuttle, and a 41-inch vertical. Henry is "an athletic freak with a hard-charging running style that strikes fear in the hearts of defenders at the second level," according to Brooks. "Most impressive, Henry displayed soft hands as a receiver and surprising agility for a man of his size." Henry's every-down ability will appeal to pro scouts, but he isn't eligible for the draft until 2016. "Given the lack of big, athletic backs among the collegiate ranks, Henry's rare combination of size, speed and skill has already piqued the interest of NFL scouts looking for a dynamic workhorse to build around," wrote Brooks.
