Four-star athlete Terry Googer, the No. 206-ranked player in the 2014 ESPN 300, has committed to South Carolina.
The 6-foot-4, 203-pounder is one of the most physically impressive recruits in the class. South Carolina dipped into the fertile recruiting grounds of Georgia to nab an athlete that could play quarterback, wide receiver or a hybrid H-back role at the next level. ESPN believes Googer will "most likely end up as a jumbo WR/H-back" but could handle quarterback in an option system. "Frame and athletic ability give this player a huge upside despite his lack of a natural position," reports ESPN's RecruitingNation scouting report. Googer selected the Gamecocks over Miami, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Louisville and Kentucky, amongst others. Mon, Aug 19, 2013 02:17:00 PM
