Kentucky tight ends coach Vince Marrow said senior TE Anthony Kendrick could play on Sundays.
"I played the position for years and, just talking to my buddies, scouts who come around, they see it, too," Marrow, who played tight end for five different NFL teams, said. "They're saying they didn't know who he was, and then they notice him. He should be a guy who can do something special out there." Marrow, a 6-foot-3, 233-pound former receiver from Texas, hasn't played in a game since 2011, but UK remains fervently sold on his potential. "Explosive, a big guy who can run," Marrow said. "Big vertical presence, good hands, good route runner, but the thing I like best about him is his physicality. He's a physical guy who can run." Kentucky hasn't used the tight end position much since Jacob Tamme moved to the NFL, but offensive coordinator Neal Brown will employ plenty of two-TE sets in 2013. Tue, Aug 20, 2013 02:41:00 PM
