ESPN's Todd McShay believes Stanford senior DL Henry Anderson "will outplay his draft slot."
"Anderson is one of the most underrated players in college football," McShay wrote. "He projects as a 5-technique defensive end in a 3-4 alignment at the NFL level. He isn't a great athlete, nor is he overpowering, but he has quick and violent hands, great football instincts, discipline and stamina, and plays with good knee-bend and leverage." The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder suffered through a rough 2013 season while dealing with injuries, which explains why scouts have been slow to come around on him, but has played exceptionally in 2014. Anderson will play in the East-West Shrine Game, giving him a chance to work into the middle rounds. "He might end up as a Day 3 pick because of his lack of elite athleticism, but my guess is he will outplay his draft slot," McShay wrote. Dec 10 - 11:46 PM
