Multiple outlets are reporting that Alabama redshirt junior RB Bo Scarbrough will forego his final season of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.
Scarbrough (6'2/227) was a five-star recruit coming out of high school back in 2014 and enrolled with much hype in Tuscaloosa. He largely underwhelmed at the collegiate level, though, outside of a monster stretch late in the 2016 season. This year, the redshirt junior rushed for a relatively modest 596 yards (4.8 YPC) and eight touchdowns. While Scarbrough has the strength to bust through arm tackles, he lacks the shiftiness of former Tide RB Derrick Henry and tends to lose some of his speed and momentum when moving laterally and making cuts. He also comes with a loaded medical history, having twice torn his ACL and twice suffered broken legs. In terms of draft slot, he could potentially see some late Day 2 interest with a strong evaluating process. Jan 10 - 3:45 PM
