FSU redshirt sophomore K Roberto Aguayo "has the talent to be the rare underclassman specialist to declare early," according to CBS Sports' Dane Brugler.
"Aguayo has two years of eligibility remaining at Florida State, but he has the talent to be the rare underclassman specialist to declare early. And with another consistently productive season in 2015, he could be the first kicker drafted in the top-100 picks since 2005 NFL Draft (Mike Nugent)," Brugler wrote. The FSU prospect won the 2013 Lou Groza Award and earned consensus All-American honors in 2014. Last season, Aguayo was 27-for-30 on field goal attempts, with a perfect 18-for-18 on kicks under 40 yards. Aguayo's 293 points currently rank him eighth in FSU history in scoring among all players. Aguayo doesn't really have much else to prove at the collegiate level and a jump for the NFL may make sense after this season. Jun 9 - 2:33 PM
