Rutgers junior DL Darius Hamilton "is quick and is a technically sound player," according to College Football 24/7 writer Mike Huguenin.
Hamilton decided not to hop to the NFL this season, a sound decision, as he simply must add bulk. The 6-foot-4, 255-pounder started his career at 250 pounds before dropping to around 230 and then working his way back up. Hamilton believes he will play defensive end in the NFL, which would mitigate some of the necessity of him needing to be a 300-pounder. Hamilton, a top-25 recruit in the 2012 class and a three-year starter come this fall, had 45 tackles, six sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss in 2014. His father Keith played 12 seasons in the NFL with the Giants. Feb 1 - 5:42 PM
