Titans selected Western Kentucky WR Taywan Taylor with the No. 72 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
The Titans surrendered picks No. 83 and 124 to select their second receiver of the draft. Taylor (5’11/203) broke every single-season and career receiving record in Western Kentucky history, parlaying 253 catches into 4,234 yards (16.7 YPR) and 41 TDs as a four-year starter and two-time first-team All-C-USA pick. When facing SEC defenses, Taylor went 9-121 against Alabama and 9-112 against Vanderbilt. Taylor also shined without pads, posting 81st-percentile SPARQ results and the top three-cone time (6.57) among wide receivers at the Combine. A favorite of Rotoworld's Josh Norris, Taylor has an Emmanuel Sanders-level ceiling as a wideout capable of winning both outside and in the slot. Apr 28 - 10:02 PM
