Jaguars signed Maryland WR Amba Etta-Tawo.
Etta-Tawo (6’1/208) was a rotational receiver at Maryland for three seasons before transferring to Syracuse for his fifth-year senior campaign and exploding for a 94/1,482/14 (15.8 YPR) receiving line, earning third-team All-America with single-season school records in catches and yards. Etta-Tawo ran 4.49 with 58th-percentile SPARQ results in Indy. Turning 24 in November, Etta-Tawo is an over-aged but intriguing prospect with adequate size and athleticism, and he is known as an exceptionally hard worker. Etta-Tawo is still learning to run nuanced routes after living on verticals and bubble screens in college, but he’s worth an NFL flyer with a chance to become a No. 3 receiver. May 1 - 6:21 PM
