Olympian Grégory Bourdy takes his talents to Boise, Idaho, for his Web.com Tour debut at this week's Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft Nabisco, the second leg of the Web.com Tour Finals.
The Frenchman is fresh off a week where he said "I do," delaying his attempt at earning PGA TOUR status for the 2016-17 season. Now he'll get started on that goal in Boise, Idaho, perhaps with a little extra pep in his step after tying the knot so recently. During the 2016 calendar year, Bourdy has played 20 events internationally, grabbing top 25s in 11 of them, missing the cut in just three. His biggest weapon is consistency but with just three weeks to earn his stripes, the 34-year-old will have to turn it up a notch. Luckily, he sports four wins on the European Tour over his career. On the down side, the latest came back at the 2013 ISPS Handa Wales Open, so it's been a few years since he's crossed the line. At 112th in the Official World Golf Rankings, he will be one of the most well-seasoned talents on display this week at Hillcrest Country Club. Sep 13 - 1:49 PM
