Scott Langley has been reinserted into the field of this week's PLAYERS.
Langley was bumped to first alternate when Derek Ernst won the Wells Fargo Championship. The lefty remained on the outside looking in until Bob Estes withdrew just before his tee time at 2:21 p.m. ET. Langley went off the first tee with Tom Gillis and Harris English.

Scott Langley makes his first stop at TPC Louisiana for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
The rookie looked good at Harbour Town last week, eventually settling into a tie for 24th. It marked the fifth time in 11 events that he picked up a weekend tee time, and was second only to his T3 to start the year at the Sony Open. It seems like golf courses that are both tight and challenging are his cup of tea, so this probably isn’t the best fit for his game.

Scott Langley heads to Bay Hill for the Arnold Palmer Invitational coming off a tie for 30th at the Tampa Bay Championship.
The rookie has been difficult to figure out this season. After a third-place finish at the Sony Open, he missed his next two cuts before snapping the streak with a T62 at Pebble Beach. After two more missed cuts, he finished T30 last week. What's becoming apparent is that Langley is more likely to show up on courses where length is not important but putting is. That's the opposite of the normal Bay Hill formula.
