Scott Langley has experienced his share of success on the PGA TOUR's shorter courses, so the Travelers Championship could prove a profitable stop.
The rookie opened his year with a T3 at the par-70 Sony Open, and his only other top 25 was a T24 at the par-71 RBC Heritage. Given he's 158th in driving distance, that makes perfect sense. With pressure mounting to perform on the shorter tracks, expect a decent week out of him.

Scott Langley has been reinserted into the field of this week's PLAYERS.
Langley was bumped to first alternate when Derek Ernst won the Wells Fargo Championship. The lefty remained on the outside looking in until Bob Estes withdrew just before his tee time at 2:21 p.m. ET. Langley went off the first tee with Tom Gillis and Harris English.

Scott Langley makes his first stop at TPC Louisiana for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
The rookie looked good at Harbour Town last week, eventually settling into a tie for 24th. It marked the fifth time in 11 events that he picked up a weekend tee time, and was second only to his T3 to start the year at the Sony Open. It seems like golf courses that are both tight and challenging are his cup of tea, so this probably isn’t the best fit for his game.
