World No. 136 Russell Henley tossed up a 4-under-par 33-34=67 in the final round of the Valspar Championship to finish up his second appearance (MC/2016) on 7-under 277, up 10 places on the live leaderboard to T8 and tying the low round in the clubouse with four others. UPDATE: With play completed, Henley finished T9 while Tony Finau had the low round with 64.
After opening in 64-71-75, the 27-year-old began on 3-under (T18), a distant 11 adrift of 54-hole leader Adam Hadwin but just two shy of the overnight top 10. He split 10 (of 13) fairways and hit 13 greens in regulation, posting 1.769 putts per GIR and 2.240 SG: Putting. The Macon, Georgia, native was bogey-free 4-under thru 15 holes, circling holes 1, 2 (from 19'11"), 4 (also from 19'11") and 14, exchanging bogey-5 at 16 with a walk-off 3 at 18 the rest of the way. This was his ninth start of the season and sixth top 25, and possibly a second top 10 (T10, RSM Classic). Mar 12 - 4:18 PM
