The TCU alum went out in 1-under, outpacing bogey-4 at No. 8 with circles at 2 and 9, increasing his lead to two at the break. He added another circle at 12 (from 21'8"), but then ate double bogey-6 at 16 after trouble getting out of a greenside bunker. Hoge missed a 9'1" birdie try at the last to join the playoff. He hit 12 (of 14) fairways and 16 GIR, losing 2.150 strokes around-the-green, which was last in the field in R4. Hoge posted 1.813 putts per GIR and -0.433 SG: Putting with 33 total putts.
