Whee Kim rolls into the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club this week looking to build on his success from last time out.
Kim has made the cut in four straight tournaments, but his most impressive finish of the season came when he was runner-up last time out at the RBC Canadian Open. There will be quite a bit more pressure, however, in what will be just his second career major. For what it's worth, it made the cut at the U.S. Open last season, so the stage shouldn't be too big for him. He isn't a bomber off the tee, but you needn't be to have success at Bellerive. And should be land in one of the numerous bunkers, he ranks fifth on TOUR in Sand Save Percentage. He is a decent scrambler and he ranks 41st in Putts Per Round (28.64), so Kim is an intriguing sleeper for DFS players at a cut-rate price. He is worth a little exposure for those submitting multiple lineups in cash games this week. Aug 8 - 4:03 AM
