Matt Every submitted a 12-over-par 44-40=84 for his second round of the Memorial and will not be around to play the weekend.
Every arrived at Muirfield Village today just outside the cut line after his opening 74, but he unraveled early and often in today's round. He hit just six greens in regulation and had three double bogeys and a triple on his card before the turn. Coming in on the front side of the course, he added three bogeys and a double, the last courtesy of a 31'2" conversion of all things. Overall, he incurred four penalties, three of which as a result of finding water. Needless to say, it's a disappointing result, but especially since he tied for fourth at Colonial last week and posted a T6 in his debut at the Memorial last year. May 31 - 12:01 PM
