Russell Martin went 2-for-3 and launched his first spring homer as the Blue Jays shut out the Rays 3-0 on Sunday.
Martin has struggled offensively this spring, but his priority is learning the new pitching staff in Toronto. That's included working all of R.A. Dickey's starts. However, the Jays appear to be leaning towards having Josh Thole again work as Dickey's personal catcher, which would cut into Martin's fantasy value just a tad. It's not like Martin was going to start more than four out of every five games anyway, but that personal catcher scenario means Martin could occasionally sit in favorable matchups and start more day games after night games.
