Joey Votto doubled twice Sunday as the Reds beat the Cubs 3-1.
Votto finishes an MVP-quality season with a .320 average, an MLB-high .454 OBP and an NL-leading 1.032 OPS. He finished with his second-highest homer total of 36, and he drove in 100 runs for the first time since 2011. It's probably a long shot that it will be enough to actually get him his second MVP trophy -- he played for a 68-94 team -- but he's as deserving as anyone. Oct 1 - 6:18 PM
