Ryan Sweeney doubled and ripped a two-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Cardinals.

Sweeney's two-run blast in the first inning gave the Cubs a 3-0 lead, which turned out to be all they needed. Cody Ransom followed Sweeney with a solo shot of his own. Sweeney is batting .312 with a couple homers in 34 games for the Cubs and will be playing regularly while David DeJesus is out. He's worth owning in NL-only formats. Jun 18 - 11:08 PM

	2	Kyuji Fujikawa D.L. Kyuji Fujikawa underwent Tommy John surgery on Tuesday. The reconstructive elbow procedure was performed by Dr. James Andrews and deemed a success. Fujikawa has already been placed on the 60-day disabled list and is unlikely to be ready to pitch for the Cubs again until June of next season. He signed a two-year, $9.5 million free agent contract with Chicago this past winter. Jun 11

	11	Arodys Vizcaino D.L. Arodys Vizcaino has been ruled out for the season after recently undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow to address a calcium buildup. Vizcaino wasn't progressed as hoped in his recovery from Tommy John surgery, and now we know why. It's a shame that he won't appear for the Cubs in 2013, but the good news is that his ligaments are fine and he should be ready to go for spring training. Vizcaino will be shut down for six weeks before beginning his rehab. May 28
