Freddy Garcia yielded two runs and three hits in six innings Monday in a no-decision against the Yankees.
Garcia was in line for the win until Troy Patton and Jim Johnson gave up runs. Both runs Garcia allowed came on solo homers. He's now allowed six homers in four starts for the Orioles, which is why he's such a bad risk in AL-only leagues.

Garcia was knocked around his last time out and might only be given one more shot to shape up. He should be avoided for fantasy purposes on Monday.

Facing the team that released him this spring, Freddy Garcia gave up four runs in 3 2/3 innings Wednesday in a loss to the Padres.
Garcia allowed seven hits, one of them a homer, and he struck out just one. He might be just one more bad start away from getting booted from the rotation, though Wei-Yin Chen's injury could buy him some additional time.

Freddy Garcia surrendered four runs in six innings Thursday in a loss to the Royals.
Garcia would have been semi-interesting had he managed to stick with the Padres coming out of spring training. Pitching in Camden Yards and the AL East, he's likely going to get shelled on occasion, neutralizing any fantasy value he amasses in his decent outings.

It will presumably be an extended spring training game. The Orioles will likely send him out on a brief rehab assignment from there, but he appears on track to return from the disabled list early next month. The 29-year-old backstop has been sidelined since April 27 with a dislocated left thumb.

They were supposed to be removed on Friday, but Roberts wasn't sufficiently healed at that time. The second baseman is coming back from surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in the back of his right knee and will be out for at least the next six weeks or so.

Betemit, who suffered a right PCL tear during spring training, received clearance after visiting the team doctor in Baltimore. The 31-year-old still has a way to go before returning to game action, but he's finally making some progress.

Nolan Reimold (hamstring) is not expected to be ready for activation from the disabled list when first eligible.
Reimold was placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 12 with a right hamstring strain. He is eligible to return on May 28 -- next Tuesday -- but his rehab is not that far along. The outfielder should be good to go at some point during the first few weeks of June.

Wei-Yin Chen (oblique) will head to the Orioles' spring training complex Tuesday to begin his rehab.
Chen landed on the 15-day disabled list May 13 with a strained right oblique and can't pick up a baseball for at least another week. But he's allowed to do cardio work while he waits. The right-hander should be ready to rejoin the O's starting rotation in early June.

Tsuyoshi Wada (elbow) allowed four runs over four innings Thursday in a rehab start at Triple-A Norfolk.
Wada gave up three hits and issued two walks but he fanned five batters and made it all the way to 78 pitches (45 of which were strikes). He's on his way back from Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery and is aiming to join the Orioles' starting rotation at some point in early-to-mind June. The left-hander signed a two-year, $8.15 million contract with the O's in December 2011 but has not yet thrown a pitch in a major league game.
