New York guaranteed Lyon less than a million bucks as a free agent this winter, an investment that is paying off nicely. Niese allowed six hits and four walks, so it wasn't pretty, but he kept his team in the ballgame. However, a two-run single by opposing pitcher Scott Feldman in the fourth inning was enough to put him on the losing side.
