Travis Hafner had a pair of RBI singles in Tuesday's loss to the Orioles.

Hafner plated runs in the first and fourth innings, but they were the only tallies the Yankees could muster in the extra innings loss. Pronk dealt with a shoulder issue last week, but he appears to be fine now, having homered twice and driven in two runs in each of his three games since returning to action. May 21 - 10:40 PM

It's the first time he's done so since landing on the DL, as he had been limited to hitting off a tee and taking soft-toss. 3B	1	Alex Rodriguez D.L. Alex Rodriguez (hip) fielded grounders and took 25 swings in an indoor batting cage Monday at the Yankees' minor league complex in Tampa, Florida. Kicking off his third week of on-field activities following hip surgery, Rodriguez also ran from pole to pole near the warning track four times. "Not bad," said Rodriguez. It's not clear when he'll begin playing in games, but the Yankees hope to have him back around midseason. May 20
	2	Kevin Youkilis D.L. Kevin Youkilis (back) will play in an extended spring training game Saturday. Mark Teixeira is also slated to play as he works his way back from a wrist injury. Youkilis has been sidelined for nearly a month with a lumbar spine strain, but he could rejoin the Yankees late next week if he can avoid setbacks. May 24

Granderson suffered the injury when he was hit by a pitch in the fifth inning of Friday night’s game. It's a troubling development for the Yankees, who will now be forced to give extended playing time to Ichiro Suzuki and Brennan Boesch. Granderson is expected to miss a minimum of four weeks. May 25

Kuroda's calf tightened up on him an inning after he was hit with a comebacker Wednesday, forcing him to leave the game. But he'll be fine. The right-hander is scheduled to face the Mets early next week. May 22

Pettitte was placed on the disabled list last week with a strained trapezius muscle, but he's currently throwing without any discomfort. The veteran left-hander expects to throw a simulated game rather than go out on a minor league rehab assignment. Either way, he should return around when he's first eligible on June 1. May 24

	6	David Phelps Sidelined David Phelps was diagnosed with a right forearm contusion. Phelps was removed from his start against the Rays in the eighth inning on Friday after being drilled on the forearm by a line drive. However, X-rays ruled out anything serious. It sounds like he'll be fine to make his next scheduled start against the Mets, but Ivan Nova is a candidate to replace him if the Yankees decide to play it safe. May 24

Pineda's fastball sat near 93 mph all afternoon and he reported no issues with his surgically-repaired shoulder. The right-hander is expected to make one more start at the Yankees' spring complex before heading out on a minor league rehab assignment.
