Bill Hall made his presence known in his Orioles debut on Saturday, blasting a solo home run in a 5-3 victory over the Rays.
Hall started the game at third base for the injured Mark Reynolds and played a major role. He'll likely share time at the position with Wilson Betemit and Chris Davis, though, and can be ignored for fantasy purposes.

Hall will provide infield depth behind Robert Andino and Mark Reynolds. He's starting in left field Saturday, hitting seventh.

Orioles signed INF/OF Bill Hall to a minor league contract.
Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette confirmed the original report by Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com. Hall will head to Triple-A Norfolk, but he could be an option off the O's bench at some point. The 32-year-old batted just .211/.261/.314 with two homers, 14 RBI and three stolen bases over 199 plate appearances between the Astros and Giants last year.

Teagarden hasn't played at all this season due to a slight ligament tear in his lower back. His condition has improved somewhat since receiving three epidural injections, but there's no timetable for his return.

Brian Roberts (head) drew two walks in two plate appearances Wednesday at Double-A Bowie.
Roberts also scored a run and had a couple of defensive assists at second base in what was his minor league rehab debut. The 34-year-old hasn't appeared in a major league game in over a year and is likely to spend more than two weeks in the O's farm system. He's probably not worth a stash in most fantasy formats.

Mark Reynolds (oblique) is getting close to beginning a minor league rehab assignment.
Reynolds is currently doing baseball activities at the Orioles' complex in Sarasota, including tee work and fielding. Orioles manager Buck Showalter previous indicated that he could come off the disabled list by the end of the month.

Nolan Reimold (neck) is scheduled to receive a second epidural injection Friday.
Reimold has expressed some uncertainty about the need for a second shot, but he now appears to be leaning toward getting it. The 28-year-old received his first injection on May 11, but his neck condition is still causing left thumb and forearm numbness and shoulder pain. His return to the Orioles is not considered imminent.

Orioles placed Endy Chavez on the 15-day disabled list with a sore intercostal muscle.
The Orioles are calling up Tommy Hunter to start Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader in place of Jason Hammel. Since Hunter hasn't been down for 10 days, he can only replace an injured player. Chavez, who suffered the injury Tuesday, will hit the shelf to make that happen. Chavez is batting just .133/.175/.167 this year.

He'll make his first rehab start Saturday and another one next Thursday. If the Orioles are happy with what they see, it's possible he could be activated from the disabled list. The 24-year-old southpaw has been sidelined all season with a left shoulder impingement.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old left-hander will miss the rest of the season and possibly the early part of the 2013 campaign.

Lindstrom has been on the disabled list since May 11 with a partial tear of the rear ligament in his right middle finger. He should be back in the bigs by mid-June.
