Asdrubal Cabrera went 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the second game of Monday's doubleheader sweep over the White Sox.
Cabrera is now sporting a healthy .356 batting mark for the season after he went 1-for-3 in the first game. He has just three homers so far, and he's unlikely to display the same power he did last year, but Cabrera should be a fine fantasy option again in 2012.

Asdrubal Cabrera had a great night at the dish against the Rangers on Saturday, going 4-for-5 with an RBI.
Cabrera has been sizzling hot at the plate as of late, and has lifted his average up to .321. The most impressive part of his current stat line is that he's walked nine times while only striking out on six occasions. The 26-year-old shortstop is turning himself into a complete hitter and should remain a fantasy force for many years to come.

Asdrubal Cabrera was the hero of the Indians 3-2 victory over the Angels on Friday, delivering a game-winning RBI single off of David Carpenter in the bottom ninth inning.
Cabrera finished the game 3-for-5 with that all important RBI, and is now hitting a very impressive .321 on the season. Cabrera started the 2011 season with a very impressive first half before fading after the all-star break. Perhaps this year, he's poised to continue his hot hitting for the entire season.

Indians activated SS Asdrubal Cabrera from the bereavement list.
Cabrera returned to his native Venezuela last week following the death of his grandfather. The Indians have an off-day on Monday, so he should return to the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against the Royals.

Hannahan hasn't played since May 13, so it's surprising the Indians haven't placed him on the disabled list at this point. Perhaps he'll finally make it back by this weekend.

Grady Sizemore (back) took batting practice Wednesday for the first time since landing on the disabled list.
"He looked good for the first time," Acta said. "He swung the bat good, but it's just a start. We're not going to rush anything. He's going to continue his rehab, and I'm anticipating that he's going to go on a rehab assignment where he's going to have plenty of at-bats before he comes up here and plays." Sizemore has been hitting, throwing and doing running and agility drills, but he's not close to returning to the lineup. He's hoping to be back before the end of June.

Travis Hafner is being held out of Thursday's game against the Tigers due to a right knee bruise.
Indians skipper Manny Acta called the 34-year-old DH "day-to-day." Hafner is hitting .242/.380/.439 with six home runs and 23 RBI in 39 games played this season.

Josh Tomlin (wrist) tossed a successful 50-pitch simulated game on Thursday morning.
Tomlin threw all his pitches and got a thumbs up from his skipper. He looked good," said Manny Acta. "He's expected to be fine." The 27-year-old starter was diagnosed last week with intersection syndrome in his right wrist but could be ready to return by the end of May.

Indians manager Manny Acta said Monday that Roberto Hernandez is confident he will receive his travel visa and return to the team.
Hernandez, formerly known as Fausto Carmona, was arrested in his native Dominican Republic in January for falsifying his identity. He reached a deal last month to have the charges dropped in exchange for completing a work program, but it's not clear when he'll receive a visa to travel to the United States. It's possible that MLB could still levy a suspension, though the Indians are hopeful that reducing his salary will serve as an appropriate punishment. He's staying in playing shape in the meantime.
