Elliot Johnson has started four of the last five games at second base for the Royals.
Johnson is batting .400/.429/.550 over the last six games and will continue to play while he's hot. Chris Getz will still see plenty of time at second base, though. "He’s swinging the bat well and playing exceptional defense. He’s made some nice plays up the middle," manager Ned Yost said of Johnson. "But when (Chris Getz) Getzie gets hot, we’ll ride him.
