Wade Davis gave up four runs and nine hits in 5 1/3 innings Wednesday in a win over the Angels.
Davis also walked three, so he really should have allowed more than just four runs. However, he was aided by double-play balls in both the fourth and fifth innings. Davis is now 3-3 with a 5.98 ERA. There doesn't seem to be much chance of him getting shifted to the pen this month, but it could happen in June if he doesn't begin to improve.

Wade Davis was knocked around for seven runs in five-plus innings Friday in a loss to the Yankees.
Davis was pulled after he allowed consecutive hits to start the top of the sixth inning. Both baserunners eventually came around to score. Davis gave up seven hits in the loss, including two home runs. He has now allowed 19 runs in 19 2/3 innings over his last four starts, pulling his ERA up from 2.25 to 5.86 along the way. Perhaps the Rays had the right idea about using him as a reliever.

Wade Davis was pounded for eight runs and 12 hits in 4 2/3 innings by the Indians on Monday.
Davis had a 2.25 ERA after three starts, but he's given up 15 runs -- 11 earned -- in 8 1/3 innings over the last two. It's not going to get him sent to the pen right away, but the Royals do have that option if Davis continues to struggle as a starter.

Wade Davis allowed seven runs -- three earned -- in 3 2/3 innings against the Tigers on Wednesday.
His defense didn't help him out, but Davis let up eight hits and four walks on the evening -- shouldering plenty of the blame. After a rough first start, Davis had turned in two strong outings before Wednesday's clunker, so it's tough to know which pitcher we'll see going forward. He'll get the Indians next.

Jarrod Dyson has been diagnosed with a mild high ankle sprain and is expected to be sidelined for 2-to-4 weeks.
The 28-year-old speedster had been off to a decent start this season, hitting .268/.286/.561 with a homer, eight RBI and six stolen bases through his first 41 at-bats. While the timetable for recovery is short, any injury to the ankle is something to very closely monitor for a player such as Dyson who derives all of his fantasy value from his speed. David Lough could be worth a look in very deep leagues while Dyson is out.
